Our little Ninjas class is for under 5s and has been running for a couple of years now. We have had Ninjas progress to the older class and some are now competing in tournaments.
The class is based around play and games and enjoying the training with techniques and exercises. It is fun and mayhem at times, but we love it.
We had the kids Halloween training party last night. Lots of fun and spooky goings on. The gym was kitted out like a haunted house and we dis some Zombie sparring, Coffin races and many games in the dark. It was great fun and we still got some drills and exercises in.
The half term camp happend this week.
Three days of training and sparring 10am -1pm every day.
We started with warm ups, and some games etc and tehn went into training and grading work followed by a break and then some sparring practice. Evert day was finished with nerf wars!!!
A great camp. It was fun and we saw some great improvements from the participants.
Chris came down and did a seminar for the kids and adults. He worked loads of drills for pulling and timing the opponent. Everyone loved the session and we had great fun and learned a lot of good tips that we will put into practice in the next tournaments.
Well done John Ayres for getting his Purple belt in light con discipline.
He had to perform all of the past grading techniques plus new ones. and rounds on bags and pads and many rounds of sparring to achieve this result Congratulations
