Well done t Alex and Michelle who passed their Orange and yellow belts respectively this week. They are the first to take their gradings this december and had to perform, basics, combinations, defences, bag and pad work, and sparring which they did in style. Congratulations.
Well done Charlotte for being Nominated young achiever of the year in the AGAINSTBCAWARDS. Amazing hard work and brilliant results from you this year, as well as fantastic support from your family You deserve it and we are so proud of you.
We took Joe Spalding through his grading on the weekend, nit realising that he has not graded for some time. i was a bit shocked to hear he was just going for his Orange belt and as we put him through his paces it was clear that he was well beyond this level. After pushing him further than we should have with bagwork, sparring etc we decided that he was definately Orange belt material.
Now he is going to go as fast as he can for Green belt in December.
Well done Joe.
Well done to everyone who took part in the mid term gradings on Saturday.
It was a warm day and lots of energy and effort had to be put in as well as attention to detail .
Bagwork, padwork, sparring, basic techniques, Defences, plus many other disciplines had to be performed and everyone achieved their aim of the next belt
Well done all.
The next grading will be the big one in December.
